Honda Racing The Honda Formula 4-Stroke Powerboat Championship looks set for an enthralling season. The exciting 2008 calendar consistis of five venues which includes Torquay and a June race in Plymouth which will be the first held without Class One backing, proving the series can now take on bigger events single-handedly.

The season will offer a new race schedule with 20 races in five locations around the UK. The season runs from May to September and concludes in the I.O.M for the 2008 Championship. With a few new changes from inside both the 150hp and 225hp classes the series boasts some new team and driver line ups.

"The enthusiasm for Honda F4SA has been building year after year, the increase in our race schedule was inevitable and we are happy to be able to announce that 2008 will bring double the on water action than we have ever seen before." said Steve Curtis Managing Director, Honda Formula 4-Stroke.

"Our enthusiasm for the Championship is clearly reflected by our chosen race venues who invite us back every year. I think a lot of people are now starting to recognise the potential of the sport and the benefit our events have on the local economy. Last year's Lowestoft Powerboat Grand Prix was estimated to have produced in the region of £2m for the tourism industry."
