Honda 4 stroke prepares for season finale Posted On: 17 Sep 2007 - 19:46 | For the second consecutive year Liverpool is set to host the final two rounds of the Honda Formula 4-Stroke Powerboat Series, the world's largest offshore powerboat championship, when the 40 strong fleet takes to the River Mersey on 29/30 September.
The 2008 European Capital of Culture will stage what is expected to be the
closest racing of the season. As the only city centre race on the calendar, the Grand Prix of Liverpool brings powerboat racing to the heart of Merseyside.

Long term event contracts announced. Posted On: 13 Sep 2007 - 10:33 | The International Offshore Team Association (IOTA) has confirmed that it has renewed its existing agreements and signed new long-term contracts with Qatar and Dubai.
The new agreements, signed by HE Sheikh Hassan Bin Jabor Al-Thani, president of Qatar Marine Sports Federation and Saeed Hareb, managing director of the Dubai International Marine Club, confirms that the world's leading powerboat series will stage a minimum of four races in the Middle East for at least the next three years and demonstrates the on-going commitment of two of Class 1's well established venues, to both IOTA and the World Professional Powerboating Association (WPPA).

Victory 7 Receive Yellow Card Posted On: 05 Sep 2007 - 12:40 | Victory 7 was handed a yellow card for interference with the starting procedure during the Romanian Grand Prix on Sunday. The decision to hand the yellow card to the Dubai team was taken late on Sunday after extensive deliberations between the WPPA jury.
