Honda 4 Stroke prepares for Cowes

powerboat series will make a return to Cowes for the seventh and eighth rounds of the 2007 championship over the August bank holiday weekend (25/26 August). The series will form part of the Cowes Powerboat Festival which is set to provide spectators a feast of spectacular racing from some of the top domestic and international championships in the powerboat world. The HF4S fleet will no doubt attract huge attention, as it will provide the largest fleets in the festival.

Another UIM / WPPA draft agreement reached
Posted On: 13 Aug 2007 - 17:11 | A joint meeting between the World Professional Powerboat Association (WPPA) and the UIM, the world governing body for watersports resulted here with yet another agreement between the two bodies. Per Benson and Sami Abu Shaikha, two hand-picked officials had been deputed by the UIM in an attempt to arrive at an amicable solution with the breakaway WPPA.
