Nadir made his Class 1 debut in 2005 at the British Grand Prix, taking over from two times World Champion Ali Nasser, finishing on the podium in his second race, the Scandinavian Grand Prix. In 2006 he switched from driver to throttleman duties. A keen marine sports enthusiast, he competed in wooden powerboat racing in the mid-nineties as well as competing in the UIM Aquabike World Championships, lifting the world title in 1995, 1996 and 2003.
He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and works for the Dubai National Gas Company. His hobbies include Aquabike racing, motocross and cycling.
