The Wet Pits are situated at Pheonix Wharf. The boats are transported by truck from the dry pits to Pheonix Wharf car park.

From the car park the boats are placed into the water using cranes.

A great tip is to get the Mount Batten Ferry which goes right past the wet pit's. Cost is around £1 and you can get some great pictures. You can then walk out on to Mount Batten pier and get close to the boats as they start qualification.
