Giuseppe turned his attentions from competitive motorcycle racing and sailing to powerboat racing in 2002. He finishing second in the Italian Class 3, 2litre championship in 2003 and 2004, teaming up with Mario Petroni for the first time this year in the Class 3, 2litre World Championship in Jesolo in September and makes his Class 1 debut in Doha.
