Chris has been the promoter of the Class 1 GP in Plymouth for the last 6 years. In 2004 he launched the Negotiator team and raced along side Peter "Muddy" McGrath. In 2005 he made his debut as a driver and took 4th in the 2005 season with World Champion Randy Skism as his throttleman. Also in 2005 James Sheppard partnered Chris in "Negotiator" to clinch a World Record for the fastest ever circumnavigation of the Isle Of Wight.
2006 saw major changes as the team announced a major new sponsorship deal with King of Shaves. Subsequently the team was renamed and the boat took on King of Shaves corporate identity. Despite early promise from the team who showed they could be in the mix with the top names in the sport a number of technical problems robbed the team of podiums and even the teams maiden win. The teams miserable year took an even worse turn at the British Grand Prix when the boat crashed at 130mph. But undetered the team repaired the damage and returned to racing in Dubai. Chris is hoping for better luck in 2007. Chris' son also races the Negotiator Honda 4 stroke.
